Lessons learned from bioMérieux B-RAF companion diagnostic program
The FDA recently announced the approval of a pair of genetically targeted melanoma drugs from drug giant GlaxoSmithKline, along with a companion diagnostic that can be used by clinicians to help identify the patients who are most likely to respond to treatment. This genetic test is intended for patients whose tumors carry the B-RAF V600E or V600K mutation, and was successfully developed, validated and tested in an ongoing, multi-year collaboration between bioMérieux and LabCorp Clinical Trials. In this podcast, you'll hear from Lyn O'Donnell, Lead Clinical Scientist at bioMérieux, who will share her observations and lessons learned on this exciting development program.
