Details

The purpose of part A is to evaluate the safety and tolerability (side effects) of the study drug, how much of the study drug and its breakdown products get into the blood stream and urine and how long it takes the body to get rid of them. During your stay, you will be given a single, oral dose of the study drug or placebo (inactive drug) at increasing dose levels.

Depending on the group you are in, you will be dosing in a fasted or fed state.

Details

The purpose of this study is to look at how much of the study drug enters the circulation of the body when given as a tablet compared to a capsule formulation. The study will also evaluate the effect food has on how much of the tablet form of the study drug gets into the bloodstream and how long it takes the body to get rid of it, and to collect information on any side effects that may occur when the tablet form of the study drug is taken with food and without food. The study will also assess the safety and tolerability (side effects) of the study drugs.
