The study drug is an investigational drug being developed for the treatment of cancer. An investigational drug is a drug that has not been approved by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA).
This type of study is called a radiolabeled study. For this study, the study drug has been specially prepared to contain radiolabeled carbon [14C]. [14C] is a naturally occurring radioactive form of the element carbon. Adding a low dose of radiation to the study drug does not change how the drug works, but helps us to see how the drug appears in the blood, urine, and stool after it is given to you.
The purpose of this study is to measure how much of the study drug and its breakdown products get into the bloodstream, urine, and/or stool and how long it takes the body to get rid of them. In addition, the safety and tolerability of the study drug will be evaluated.
During the study you will be given a single oral dose of the study drug as a solution to drink
