This is a research study for an investigational drug being developed as a potential new treatment for Alzheimer’s disease.

This type of study is called a radiolabeled study. The study drug has been specially prepared to contain radiolabeled carbon atom [¹⁴C], a naturally occurring radioactive form of the element carbon. Adding a low dose of radiation to the study drug does not change how the drug works but helps us to see when the drug appears in the blood, urine, breath, and stool after it is given to you.

The purposes of this study are to look at how much of the study drug gets into your blood, urine, stool, and/or breath and how long it takes the body to get rid of it and its breakdown products over time. Information about any side effects that may occur will also be collected. You will be given a single oral dose of the study drug as a solution to drink.

This study requires 1 confinement in the research unit for up to 18 days/17 nights. It is possible that you may only need to stay 8 days/ 7 nights if your body has gotten rid of the study drug before then. It is important that your schedule is flexible enough to adjust to a shorter stay. A follow-up phone call will occur approximately 7 days after discharge from the research unit.

- Body Mass Index between 18.5-32

- Study involves 1 stay of 7 to 17 nights and 1 phone call

- Compensation from $5,029 to $9,909 may be provided for time and participation

- Receive up to $200 per qualified participant
